Schedule

The conference will feature several days of presentations, discussion sessions, and chances for networking. Optional events will be offered the day before and after the conference as well.

Travel and Logistics

Conference Site:

We are excited to host our first in-person conference since 2019 at the Hotel at Auburn and Dixon Conference Center! This amazing location offers amazing amenities, restaurants, and connections to Auburn University. You can learn more about the Conference location here.

Traveling to Auburn:

The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the primary hub of Delta Air Lines. Groome Transportation offers a shuttle service directly between the Atlanta Airport and the Hotel.

Additionally, two regional airports also serve the Auburn area, Montgomery Regional Airport and the Columbus Airport (Georgia).

If booking a shuttle through Groome Transportation, use the link to the left and use the following selections:

  • From “Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport (ATL)” and
  • To “AU Hotel Conference Center”

Excursion to Montgomery, Alabama

We are excited to offer an additional excursion for conference attendees. Auburn is a short drive from Montgomery, Alabama, where many key moments in the Civil Rights Movement have taken place.

This optional excursion will include the following:

  • Transportation from the Dixon Hotel & Conference Center (where the conference is taking place) departing at 8:00 AM
  • Admission the the Legacy Museum and Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama
  • A conversation and discussion with Wanda Battle of Legendary Tours
  • A two-hour bus tour around Montgomery and key civil rights sites
  • Return transportation to the conference center and hotel (approximately 5:45 PM)

An additional fee is required to take part in this excursion. This fee covers all expenses except for lunch at Pannie-George’s, which is on the Legacy Museum Campus

Proposal Submissions

Proposals are no longer being accepted for NACC’s conference. If you have any questions, please reach out to NACC’s Executive Director, Nicole Collier. You can view our original call for papers below.

The NACC Conference committee welcomes proposals from around the world from researchers, practitioners, professors, and other scholars dedicating work to the nonprofit/philanthropic sector.

Proposals are being accepted through February 15th in the following formats:

  • Individual or group research presentations (shared sessions)
  • Pedagogy, Curriculum, or Teaching best practices presentation (shared session)
  • Roundtable Discussions (non-shared session)
  • Panels (non-shared session)
